BioLume Embrace is a wearable electronic that uses light as a way to visualize data from body to body connection. By holding, embracing or hugging, the wearer can display a moment of connection and intimacy. Inspired by firefly squid, one of the only cephalopods that mate for life, the lingering moment of a hug can be transformed into something organic, mechanic, alien and otherworldly.
